🌺 The 15 Nitya Devis – The Divine Shakti of the 15 Lunar Tithis In the sacred tradition of Sri Vidya , time is not viewed merely as a sequence of hours, days and months. Time itself is understood as a manifestation of Shakti — the Divine Feminine Power . One of the beautiful expressions of this concept is the worship of the Nitya Devis , the fifteen eternal forms of Divine Mother associated with the fifteen lunar Tithis , or lunar days. The fifteen Nityas form an important part of the Sri Vidya tradition. A traditional list, associated with the Tantraraja Tantra , names them as Kāmeśvarī, Bhagamālinī, Nityaklinnā, Bheruṇḍā, Vahnivāsinī, Mahāvajreśvarī, Śivadūtī, Tvaritā, Kulasundarī, Nityā, Nīlapatākā, Vijayā, Sarvamaṅgalā, Jvālāmālinī and Citrā. 🌙 What Does “Nitya” Mean?
